This is a stray dog I see everyday on my street. I named him Scabs for obvious reason. I put a pile of potato chips on the ground yesterday but he followed me up the street rather than eating them. I hope he went back for them before one of the other strays ate them. Today I walked by Scabs as he was eating out of a garbage bag. He abandoned his garbage to follow me up the street to my apartment. The travel doctor said I can't pet the furry things here unless I want to get rabies. Does Scabs count as furry? He is more bald skin than fur.
I ventured to Easy Day by myself this morning for soap and toilet paper. It's weird seeing Walmart Great Value products here on store shelves.
I got this cute mini stuffed Ganesh at Easy Day.
Today John woke me up by Face Timing me at 4:30am. I woke up not feeling so great, I have been fighting a chest cold. I went to practice anyway because Saraswati told me I could move on to marchiasana D today. Sharath came over to assist me in UHP and asked me why didn't I show up for class yesterday. I must have had a look of fear and horror because he just laughed and said "Just kidding.". I was able to quickly bind the first side of marchi C myself and struggled with the second side until Sharath came back and easily got me into the other side. After I asked "D" and he said yes. He rather easily got my first side bound, which is an all time first for me. The second side didn't happen but as the ashtanga saying goes, practice and all is coming.
